R&M provided construction administration services for the overlay of the Glenn Highway from King River to MP 100. The $4.5 million project included over 50,000 tons of hot mix asphalt and pre-leveling materials, striping, drainage corrections and extensive dig outs of failed subgrade along the 25-mile stretch of the Glenn Highway. The quality assurance/quality control program managed by R&M for this large paving operation, resulted in better than industry standard joint densities. R&M’s attention to detail provided the State of Alaska with a lasting betterment.
