R&M planned and conducted public involvement efforts for this project using the Municipality of Anchorage Context Sensitive Solutions Policy as a guideline, as well as the requirements of NEPA for environmental document development. We conducted outreach virtually and in person to engage, inform and educate potentially affected stakeholders, agencies and elected officials. To date, we have used the following tools to engage stakeholders, agencies, the public and potentially affected interests: website, GBOS Meetings, stakeholder meetings, public workshops, site visits with residents and businesses, Transportation Fair, Planning and Zoning Commission, AMATS Freight Advisory Committee and local agencies.
