Travis Wilson, PLS recently joined R&M as Senior Land Surveyor in the firm’s Geomatics Department. Travis will manage projects and lead surveying for collection, processing and mapping of survey data in support of airport, highway, railroad, waterfront and other civil infrastructure projects. He will also produce surveying and mapping products in accordance with current standards of practice.

Travis has almost 10 years of survey experience. He has managed successful survey projects from field to finish, coordinating teams of all levels from interns to experienced land surveyors. Travis has conducted research, field work and drafting for as-builts, plot plans, new construction, lot lines, boundary monuments, easements and topographic design surveys. Since being at R&M, he has coordinated fieldwork for the Pittman Road design survey and drafted topographic sites along the Glenn Highway for culvert replacement and median crossover construction.

Travis has a B.S. in Geomatics from the University of Alaska Anchorage. He is a professional land surveyor licensed in Alaska and a member of the Alaska Society of Professional Land Surveyors. When he’s not working, Travis can usually be found outside on an adventure. Travis also enjoys cooking and golf and is currently learning carpentry.
