R&M conducted a marine geophysical survey in support of plans to establish a deeper channel into Iliuliuk Bay in Dutch Harbor, Alaska. Our team performed a combination of marine sediment sampling, bathymetric surveying, subbottom seismic reflection profiling, gradiometer surveying and terrestrial geologic reconnaissance. The purpose of the investigation was to define the nature of the shallow shoal structure and to delineate surface and buried submarine objects and debris within the defined geophysical survey area. R&M performed an offshore geotechnical investigation in Fall 2022.
