Andrea has more than 27 years of experience in professional services marketing, including nearly 20 years with R&M. She specializes in marketing and strategic planning, market research, communications and proposal development. In 2001, she became Alaska’s first Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) through the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS), and achieved the status of Fellow in 2021. Andrea enjoys her role on the R&M team and as a lifelong Alaskan, appreciates the firm’s commitment to improving Alaskan communities and contributing to the local economy through the creation of well-paying jobs.

What are you most likely doing on the weekend?
For the last 20 years, I would have said sitting in the bleachers at one of my kid’s games, but now that I'm an empty nester, it's way more relaxed. Probably puttering around the house or yard, depending on the time of year. -
If you weren’t doing your current job, what would be your dream job?
Probably a songwriter...I would say country singer, but I can't sing, so there is that. -
What is a fun fact few people know about you?
I was a podium finisher in the 1977 Junior North American one-dog class. -
What is one skill you are currently working on?
Not currently, but I am going to start learning how to play the guitar. I've always wanted to and now seems like as good of a time as any. -
If you could choose a superpower, what would it be?
First of all, when I looked them up, I had no idea there were so many...how am I supposed to decide? I like saying "magma manipulation," but it would probably have to be supernatural wit.
