Lauren Jennings, CESCL joins R&M as an Environmental Specialist in the firm’s Earth Sciences Department. In this position, Lauren will be responsible for National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) impact analysis and document preparation, regulatory permitting, environmental field surveys (invasive species, wetlands, eagle nests, etc.), storm water management, and other related office and field-based environmental services as needed.

Lauren has 12 years of geoscience and environmental experience. She specializes in geologic investigations through geophysics and geochemistry, cultural resource mitigation, stormwater pollution prevention, regulatory compliance within many environmental investigations and a variety of deliverables for lead agencies. She has successfully worked closely with tribal entities on brownfield projects investigating landfills and potentially contaminated land intended for reuse. Lauren has also worked on airport improvement projects, large mines, and varying public and private clients in Alaska. She brings experience in guidance documents, including stormwater, cultural resources, permitting and contaminated site cleanup.

Lauren has a B.A. in Anthropology and an M.S in Geology, both from the University of Arkansas. She enjoys biking, camping, gardening and traveling. On the weekends, Lauren can usually be found outside somewhere, hiking, backpacking or fishing.
