Linnzi Reilly, Controller at R&M in the firm’s Accounting Group, has gained her Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation.
The CMA, issued through the Institute of Management Accountants, is a professional certification credential in the management accounting and financial management fields. It signifies knowledge in the areas of financial planning, performance, analytics and internal control, as well as strategic financial management and professional ethics.
“I earned my MBA from UAA back in 2016 and the CMA designation seemed like the logical next step to further distinguish myself in my profession and demonstrate mastery of critical accounting and financial management skills. The CMA is not only tremendously valuable to my role at R&M, but also adds to my professional resume.”

“I think it’s the balance and systematic nature in financial and managerial accounting that I’m drawn to most. It’s a special little nerd moment for me in financial management when all the data that’s recorded aligns and foots out—the numbers match up. All the data fits together like a puzzle and tells a story.”
