Mike’s construction background extends for 27 years, over which he has served as laborer, crew chief, engineering technician, junior inspector, field engineer, project engineer, lead inspector and project manager. He has been responsible for geotechnical engineering in foundation design, concrete and asphalt pavement designs, analysis of existing pavement using traditional and non-destructive testing to provide remediation recommendations, project management, and supervision of field technicians performing construction observations and inspections. Mike’s field testing and observation experience includes soils testing, drilled pier/driven pile observation, concrete testing, structural masonry testing and observation, asphalt testing, post-tension cable placement and elongation observation, fire-proofing observation and testing, chemically stabilized subgrade observation and testing, open hole observation and reinforcing steel observation.
