R&M provided surveying, civil engineering and permitting for a new 15,918 SF outpatient health clinic facility. The facility will provide urgent care, primary care, dental care, behavioral health and pharmaceutical services for Tok and surrounding communities. R&M’s work included a design survey of the site and a full subdivision re-plat to combine multiple adjacent lots owned by Tanana Chiefs Conference. Civil design including parking and patient drop-off, ADA-accessible pedestrian walkway layouts, grading and drainage, domestic and fire water wells and service lines, and on-site septic system design for the new building. R&M’s civil engineers prepared plans, specifications and ADEC permit applications and provided construction assistance to the contractor.
The Upper Tanana Health Center offers primary and urgent care, dental and behavioral health services, a lab, a retail pharmacy and a radiology room – all in one location, allowing the Tanana Chiefs Conference to expand health and social services in the region.
